Nobody would’ve predicted 10yrs ago that Hyundai in 2023 would be making not only the most desirable, style-led EVs on the market, but also two of the best hot hatches out there.

The Ioniq5 surprised the world when it was released, a large crossover/SUV with retro styling details and loads of space. But now there’s a second model – the Ioniq6 and it’s pure, bold, futuristic modernism in automotive form and we love it!

This is a 4-door saloon, but with everything focused on aerodynamics, because a slippery car with less drag, will use less battery to get somewhere. The sleek, curved bodywork culminating in a Porsche 911-like rear end, the pixel LED headlights and tail lights, it all comes together to give you a car unlike anything else on the road.

That slippery aero certainly helps with range, too. This is the base RWD model which has a 74kWh usable battery, but thanks to that bodywork it manages almost 340 miles of range, incredibly impressive numbers.

This is the Premium model which comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, Heat Pump to maximise range, privacy glass, heated steering wheel and seats, wireless charging, keyless entry, the list goes on.

The future of motoring is here and Hyundai are at the forefront! Win this incredible Ioniq6 Premium in the BOTB Midweek Lifestyle Competition!

New Volvo EX30 Twin Motor Ultra (£46,495) + £2,000

No one deserves a brand new Volvo EX30 worth £46,495 plus £2,000 cash more than today’s bighearted Midweek Competition winner, Fernando Pinho!

In his spare time, Fernando voluntarily drives families of children fighting cancer to and from hospital appointments. He even offers free flying experiences!

“I just like to give families a day where they can focus on something other than treatment,” the pilot told us.

When BOTB presenter Christian asked Fernando what he planned to do with his new wheels, Fernando didn’t need any time to think. “I’ll take the car and use it to help families get to the hospital.”

Congratulations, Fernando – keep up the fantastic work!
