Dream Car competition winner & results Daniel Tostevin - Mercedes A45 AMG 23 - 29 Apr Week 17 2018

It’s not often you get a knock on the front door before 7am, so Daniel Tostevin naturally peered through the peephole to see who it was. He was greeted by the bright orange BOTB logo on Christian’s jacket and immediately knew what was coming next!

After numerous shouts of “no way!”, Christian pulled Daniel outside where he feasted his eyes on the stunning Mercedes A45 AMG, worth over £40k! The A45 is Daniel’s “absolute dream car” and he no doubt woke a few neighbours as he revved the engine after jumping behind the wheel. Daniel works as a teacher, so we wish him luck trying to keep a class full of kids in check as his mind wanders to that Merc configurator….congratulations Daniel!

Fareham primary school teacher wins dream £41,000 Mercedes car

May 2018

A SCHOOL teacher has spoken of his shock at winning a top top-of-the-range Mercedes in a car giveaway competition.

Daniel Tostevin, a Year 4 teacher, came top of the class when BOTB handed him the keys to a Mercedes A45 AMG.

The 24-year-old was lost for words when he was surprised by Christian Williams from BOTB on his way out to work. He said: ‘I’m over the moon, I honestly can’t believe my luck. ‘I’ve been playing the competition for years but I never dreamed I’d actually ever win my dream car.’ Christian Williams, from BOTB, delivered the good news.

‘I initially thought it was the postman delivering something when the doorbell went, but as soon as I saw Christian in his BOTB gilet through the peephole I was pinching myself,’ Daniel said.

‘I waited until the end of the day to tell the children in my class the amazing news, I didn’t want to get them over excited all day.’

BOTB was founded by William Hindmarch in 1999 and has handed over the keys to more than £22m worth of supercars.

Christian Williams said Daniel was a worthy winner.

‘I have one of the best jobs in the world, handing people the keys to their dream car,’ said Christian.

‘And to be able to give a an A* result to a teacher is the greatest feeling.’

TESTIMONIAL

After playing BOTB for the last couple of years, I always hoped one day I would win - I’d been very close before on several occasions, so I just couldn’t give up! It was the Sunday night before I won when I realised I hadn’t played my tickets for that week’s competition, so I got out of bed and put some tickets down. Well, how glad am I that I forced myself out of bed that night! What a surprise I had come that Tuesday morning. I always thought that I’d never be surprised because someone would either give it away or if there was a knock on the door on a Tuesday morning, I’d know it was BOTB’s Christian. I was very, very wrong! Having not taken much of a second thought to the doorbell going at 6.50am, I looked through the peephole and there he was!! My heart was racing as I just knew what was in store - my dream car! Christian was absolutely amazing - for a guy who may have one of the best jobs in the world, he made the experience unforgettable.

I couldn’t wait to then pick up my new car just a few weeks later with BOTB helping me every step of the way. I genuinely look forward to driving my new A45 every day and I can’t thank BOTB enough for all they have done!
