Say hello to the new X1 M35i, an M-Performance model like the fantastic M135i, M240i and M340i. And doesn’t it just look fantastic? Proportions are great, just enough pumped-up aggression and not too big and imposing.
Under the bonnet there’s the familiar 2.0 litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine putting out 296bhp and 400Nm of torque, meaning the X1 M35i can sprint from a standstill to 62mph in just 5.4 seconds, yet still has a combined over 35mpg.
The interior is a masterpiece too, with the iDrive8 infotainment system with the huge screen across the dash, all the controls exactly where you’d want them and BMW sports seats that look like they’ve just come out of a full-fat M/// car.
This may well be one of the most complete all-rounders in the competition today!
