Win a Range Rover D350 SE
First off, no, your eyes aren’t deceiving you – this is really the all-new Range Rover. It may look pretty similar to the old model, but it is a totally new one from the ground up.
That means a new chassis, body, interior, and the works. With the styling, it’s evolution rather than revolution, but with a classy car like the Range Rover, it pays not to put off their customers, who generally continue to buy them with every new version.
So the headlights are slimmer, the grille shallower, and the lower intake wider. The side profile is smoother, the side ‘gills’ are less fussy, there are flush door handles, and there’s still the floating roof design.
The rear is where the biggest stylistic change comes in, with the tapering bodywork and gloss black panel that goes across the back and down the sides that house the rear lights. It’s bold and gives the rear a more modern look.
Inside there is a lovely 13.1-inch infotainment screen running the Pivi Pro system found in the Defender (which is fantastic, among the best in the business now), and they’ve even retained actual dials and buttons for the climate control – the previous double-screen setup didn’t please the traditionalists so it’s gone. Elsewhere it’s the usual setup – acres of room and sumptuous luxury everywhere with excellent visibility and practicality. Even this SE model is packed with standard features; you honestly don’t need more.
This is powered by the D350 inline-six cylinder diesel turbocharged engine producing 345bhp and a colossal 700Nm of torque which helps the Range Rover cruise along in silence, have great performance and still get almost 40mpg.
