« Back Audi RSQ3
The previous generation RSQ3 was a bit of an oddball, but won praise for being a surprisingly good steer – well Audi isn’t taking any chances with this latest generation because it has been seriously upgraded in every area. The styling of the latest Q3 is already fantastic, far more boxy and stylish than the Q5 in fact, but with the RS treatment, it looks seriously aggressive.
The now trademark RS honeycomb grille sits proudly up front, while huge intakes flank it in the bumper. Big alloys fill the arches and there are the usual two oval pipes in the rear diffuser – speaking of which they should emit a rather tasty noise as this has the same 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder engine found in the TT-RS and RS3, producing 396bhp and 480Nm of torque. So not only is performance impressive, but you also get that lovely off-beat 5-pot warble that dates back to the Quattro rally cars of the 80’s.
Thankfully the latest RSQ3 has grown slightly too, so there’s now loads of room to go with that performance and of course, the truly incredible interior that nobody does as well as Audi.
This may well be one of the best value all-rounders on sale today and you can win one in the BOTB Midweek Car Competition!
