Robert MacDonald, a patent examiner from Caerphilly in Wales, is the latest winner of the Dream Car Competition, taking home a brand new Mini John Cooper Works worth over £32,000 and £20,000 tax-free cash.

The panel of judges is formed of experienced sports professionals on a rotating basis, who each offer their best opinion. Using a panel of judges ensures that nobody can ever know the original position of the ball - resulting in a process that is fair, transparent, audited and honest.

All entrants are eligible to win game credit in zones 1 to 5 (see key above), according to their proximity to the judged position.
The top 20 closest players to the winning coordinates all receive £200 in Game Credit.
The closest Supercharged Club member for each car in the line-up wins £30 (Gold), £20 (Silver) or £10 (Bronze) Game Credit.

Robert MacDonald scooped a Mini John Cooper Works worth £33,000 plus £20,000 cash. Mr MacDonald received a visit at his home from BOTB presenter Christian Williams who surprised him with the good news. Mr MacDonald said: “I was absolutely blown away when Christian turned up at my door and felt like I needed a lie down.
“The last time I won anything was when I won about £200 on the Grand National more than 20 years ago.”
Mr MacDonald, who works as a patent examiner on new inventions, said he was considering taking the cash alternative.
“It’s come at the right time as I’ve had a few hard years and means I will be able to sort a few things out in my life," he said.
“I would like to visit my mum in Scotland and I’ve also got a poodle which is huge, so I might use the money to get an old car the dog can chew up.”
The Mini John Cooper Works certainly packs a punch with over 200bhp and is really fun to drive. Mr Williams said: “A huge congratulations to Robert on winning this amazing prize.
“For such a little car, it has got plenty of power and is awesome to drive. People take them to a track day or you can obviously just use it to travel to the shops.”

I have been a long time player of BOTB and have enjoyed the fantasy of owning cars, like a Porsche 911 or Civic Type R, that I simply couldn't afford. Actually winning floored me at first, My prize was a Mini JCW and £20,000. When I saw Christian and his crew, I almost fell over in shock. It took me a good week to let the win set in and in the end I took the cash alternative. In the end, I bought a very nice Civid. This win is fantastic, my son has just learned to drive so now he officially owns my 1.8L Honda Civic – which he loves!
